Bryn Hawkins, Chairman, and Mo Duery, Treasurer of The Somerset Miners Welfare Trust, recently visited HeartTalks for a tour of our new premises. During their visit, they took the opportunity to learn more about the profound impact of baby loss on parents and families.
HeartTalks Founder, Chantelle Walmsley, shared her inspiring journey of how the not-for-profit organisation was founded and has grown to support bereaved parents and families following IVF and pregnancy or baby loss in the BANES Somerset region.
Chantelle and her dedicated team of volunteers offer a peer support network to help families navigate the emotional challenges of loss. During their visit, the Somerset Miners Welfare Trust kindly made a generous donation of £500 to support our new service, which will go directly towards continuing and expanding our vital work.
In recognition of their support, they will also be featured on our donor wall, joining other generous contributors in our "Harbour of Hope."
